Prophecy
Bible Question: What are some prophecies that show that we are living near the end of all this madness!!! Jesus promised that he would bring about a "PEACEABLE" kingdom, but where is it?
Answer: We can understand your frustration with this present evil world. The Bible says that it is under the power and dominion of Satan at this time, but that, when the "due time" comes, Christ will take total control and bind Satan, destroy the fallen angels, and he will tear down the corrupt, opressive systems of the earth. There are hundreds of Scriptures which describe in detail prophetic events which indicate that we are on the very brink of Jesus' fully established kingdom!
"The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand." (Isaish 14:24)
Bible prophecy has consistently proven to be fulfilled throughout history. The one theme which weaves its way like a golden thread throughout the Scriptures—it is the prophecy that one day all creation will exist in peace and harmony with their Creator. History and Bible chronology indicate that the time in which we are now living is nearing the very end of this golden thread of prophecy. Very soon, God’s Holy name and plan will be vindicated, as all will see His Kingdom come and His will done throughout the earth as it is being done in heaven. If it bears no evidence of prejudicial coloring, and if prophecies of Scripture have consistently come true, then we have strong reason to believe that the Author of this incredible book is who He claims to be — the grand Creator of the universe!
